Natalia K. Vander Laan is the founder and managing attorney of Vander Laan Law Firm, LLC. From her offices in Minden and Carson City, she represents people throughout Northern Nevada in the areas of estate planning and probate.

As a child growing up in Poland, Natalia enjoyed watching American movies about lawyers. She knew from an early age that she wanted to be an attorney, and first attended law school in Poland. Then, after she moved to California, she attended law school again because California would not recognize her Polish law degree. While in law school, Natalia worked as a paralegal for an insurance company. After graduation, she worked as an in-house attorney for an insurance company handling defense of workers’ compensation claims.
Today, Natalia is the proud owner of her own law firm, with offices in Minden and Carson City. She represents clients across Northern Nevada, including Minden, Gardnerville, Carson City, Lyon County, and the Lake Tahoe area. Natalia also extends her services to clients in Markleeville, Walker, and Coleville, California. Deeply committed to her community, she serves as a board director for several local organizations and volunteers her legal expertise to support those in need.
When she’s not practicing law, Natalia loves spending time with her husband, Thomas, a local real estate agent. Together, they enjoy traveling, exploring Europe, and binge-watching their favorite shows.
